Spy Listening Devices

There is a huge selection of spy gear available to professionals as well as the general public. Maybe you are getting ready to start your own Private Investigator business, well no client will take you serious unless you have the right professional spy gear to do the job.

Spy Listening Devices

Professional grade listening devices, or Bugs, are a must in the arsenal of any good professional private investigator. These go way beyond the simple pens outfitted with a microphone and get into some serious listening ability. Some of these listening devices that can allow you to hear what is being said over 300 yards away and are ideal for many professional jobs. Simply hook your device into a digital recorder, then listen and record at the same time. Some of the newest devices that are in use can even cancel out background noise, allowing you to hear the subjects of your surveillance much much clearer.

A typical Spy Listening Device consists of a microphone and a radio transmitter. The microphone receives sound waves and either vibrates a thin membrane called a diaphragm (a dynamic microphone) or a thin metal ribbon suspended in a magnetic field (a ribbon microphone). Vibration of the diaphragm produces an electrical signal. Vibration of the metal ribbon produces a voltage change, which can be converted to an electrical signal.

Bugs come in all shapes and sizes. The original purpose of bugs was to relay sound. Today the miniaturization of electronics has progressed so far then even TV pictures can be broadcast via bugs that incorporate miniature video cameras. They can be used to allow you to make sure that your kids are safe, that your partner is faithful, or to help you discover what others plan and say behind your back. They are immensely useful in divorce cases and custody hearings, and they can also be used to help you protect yourself from false accusations and they can even be used when you bug yourself in order to make sure you have the right way of any conversation that might have taken place.

Key Stroke Logger

Are you curious to know who is accessing your computer while your away? Do you own a business and want to make sure the company internet is not being abused or putting your information at risk. Why not try a discrete Key Stroke Logger. What is a key logger you might ask? A Key Stroke Logger is an invisible software program or direct plug in device, that business owners and identity thieves can use to track your online activity and more.

Key Stroke Logger

It is almost impossible to detect a key logger if it was installed on your computer and even if you’re careful you’ll never know if it is recording information such as bank account passwords and credit card numbers, maybe its access to sensitive corporate account info. The thing is, you wouldn’t even know if you had one installed, your computer would not behave any different, nothing would seem unusual. It just silently watches every keystroke you type in as if someone were standing over your shoulder taking notes.

At least on third of all online scams can now be traced to key logging. If you type key logger into any Internet search engine you can find several perfectly legal ways to buy and install it. Several businesses use key logger software to monitor employee activity and parents can use key logging to check up on the web sites their children are visiting. But in the hands of a hacker wanting to steal your financial information, key loggers are extremely dangerous.

The best rule of thumb is to carefully monitor what you download on your computer and what sites you visit. The major sites of banks and retailers are usually relatively safe. But be aware of downloading free software from an unfamiliar site that could leave you vulnerable to a potential hacker.

Spy Cams

If you are a business owner, securtiy should be a top priority, employee and customer theft accounts for over 70% of all loss incured by business owners annually. Hidden Spy cams are designed to do one thing, catch someone doing something they are not supposed to be doing. Usually that something, is something illeagal or immoral or both. Likewise you can protect your home from intrusion by monitoring the goings on around your home with some Spy Cams.

Spy Cams

A spy cam takes and sends images to some kind of device for recording-usually a DVR either wired or wireless. Some spy cameras have built in DVR’s which really makes the whole process extremely easy, they record images on an SD card just like the one in your digital camera so you can retrieve the data later. Wireless modles have a built in tansmitter that sends the signal to a reciever which connects to a DVR or computer that records all the data. Keep tabs on your business, as a business owner you should have at least one hidden camera if not a few. You’ve worked hard to build your business and now its time to protect your investment.

If your business is located in an urban setting, spy cams can help protect you from vandals like “Grafiti Artists” who like to destroy other peoples property to send a message that the average person only sees as an eye sore. There is the obvious cost in property destruction. Then the hidden cost of repairing or elimination of the grafitti. Unfortunatley it is an all to common occurance across the country. A lot of it is gang related. It usually happens in the early morning hours when taggers can go about their “work” in peace and quiet.

There really is no better way to protect your business or see what is going on at your home or office than with a Spy Cam. When are you getting one?
