In the last post we looked at how to use keyloggers and what they are used for. This post will talk about using keyloggers in addition to other forms of surveillance equipment to gather as much information as possible on someone. Keyloggers are probably the best place to start as people tend to share a lot of information over the internet without thinking they are being spied on. This means the target will be more willing to give out information that you will then be able to look through. Keyloggers are a very easy way to gather personal information as well as personal interests. Unfortunately, keyloggers won’t give you any information on what the target is doing away from their computer however.
GPS Tracking
GPS trackers are a good way to find out the whereabouts of someone outside of the digital world. GPS trackers will provide accurate coordinates as to where a person is travelling to or is currently at. In combination with an online tool like Google Maps you will be easily able to determine where the target is travelling to. After collecting a few days worth of data you may begin to develop the target’s routine. This will allow you to better understand the target. For example, if the target drives to a pet shop every week, you will be able to infer that they have a pet at home. GPS tracking will give you much more information about their everyday life then a keylogger will be able to.
